Digital Production

I have worked in digital production since 2000. At that time, my colleagues and I at BBC Radio 1 were looked on as 'outsiders'. It's amazing how within 2-3 years everything had become digital and now, most of us live a digital life to a greater or lesser extent. It's been, and continues to be, a fascinating experience.

 

Photography and Painting

I have always made pictures. From school in Dundee to art college in Edinburgh where I studied photography and painting. In London I worked as a freelance photographer for various magazines and newspapers, and eventually joined the BBC.

 

As a photographer for many years I have worked with musicians, presenters, politicians and actors in all sorts of situations. 

 

I have a studio in Govan, Glasgow, where I concentrate on my paintings and it’s there I do the work shown here.
